Woman with bright beautiful skin.

Are you interested in an incredibly new, non-invasive, no-downtime treatment that rejuvenates your skin almost instantaneously? You might want to consider trying a microinfusion facial.

This fantastic new procedure uses cutting-edge Aquagold technology to infuse your skin with a custom cocktail of treatments. You can think of this treatment as a middle ground between a run-of-the-mill facial, which only treats skin at the surface, and more involved cosmetic treatments like injections (like Botox or fillers) or resurfacing (like laser or microneedling).

Find out what is involved in a microinfusion facial and whether this treatment is a good option for you.

Aquagold Infusion Facial Steps

aquagold microinfusion tip

  • The first step is to discuss your concerns and goals with your provider. This will allow us to decide whether microinfusion is the right treatment for you and to craft the customized cocktail that will be used.
  • Your custom blend will be created with the treatment substances for your unique needs. If this includes platelet-rich plasma, you will have a small amount of blood taken to derive the PRP for your treatment.
  • This cocktail will be filled into the Aquagold microinfusion device. This device includes extremely small, hollow needles (thinner than a human hair) that are 24K gold plated, designed to deliver treatment to a precise depth. It is used just once and discarded, so you don’t need to worry that the device was utilized on someone else’s skin before you.
  • Next, your skin will be “stamped” by the Aquagold device across your face, chest, neck, or hands to deliver your custom cocktail of treatments. This process is not painful and patients find it quite tolerable.
  • Botox, fillers, vitamins, and PRP will immediately rejuvenate the skin. You will be surprised by how soon you can see results. The microneedle effect will also stimulate collagen production, cell turnover, and skin renewal so that, over time, your results will improve.
  • That’s it! There is absolutely no downtime after a microinfusion facial. Your skin may be a little pink or red for a couple of hours after treatment, and you should avoid the sun and wear sunscreen for the rest of the day.

Cocktail Customization

One excellent aspect of microinfusion facials is that they are not one-size-fits-all. Your treatment will be tailored to your needs.

Botox

Botox is used differently in microinfusion than in the traditional sense. With Botox wrinkle treatment, the neuromodulator is injected deeper into the tissue to relax the muscles that cause creases and wrinkles. With microinfusion treatment, Botox is delivered to a much shallower depth. And instead of targeting facial muscles, it targets the skin. The effect is different. Instead of relaxing the larger facial muscles, Botox affects the tiny muscles attached to hair follicles. The result is to decrease the size of your pores and smooth the texture of your skin.

Fillers

Hyaluronic acid is often used in microinfusion facials. This is a synthetic version of a compound found naturally in the body, making it very safe. This substance helps to plump the skin, giving it a youthful, hydrated appearance.

Platelet-Rich Plasma

PRP is an amazing breakthrough that is derived from your own blood in a centrifuge. It has impressive beneficial properties, including improving texture, stimulating new growth, smoothing the skin’s surface, improving pigmentation, and plumping the skin.

Vitamins & Antioxidants

Vitamins and antioxidants like vitamin C can also be added to your treatment cocktail. These have a brightening effect that leaves skin looking healthy and nourished.
