WHAT IS A LIQUID FACELIFT?
A liquid facelift refers to non-surgical procedures that are designed to temporarily restore a more youthful appearance. Non-invasive treatments are safer than traditional facelifts and offer more subtle, natural-looking results. The treatments involved may include Botox, Dysport, and/or a variety of dermal fillers.*
HOW DOES A LIQUID FACELIFT WORK?
Like other muscles in your body, the muscles in your face develop habits. Some people habitually furrow their eyebrows, crinkle the corners of their eyes, favor one side of their face, or scowl. These regular muscle motions beneath the skin cause wrinkles to form on the facial surface. Volume loss also occurs naturally over time, leading to small lips, loss of fullness in the cheeks, and the formation of fine lines.
The cosmetic injections involved in a liquid facelift combat wrinkles and other signs of aging caused by both muscle movement and volume loss. The end result is a more youthful face and enhanced natural features.
Your liquid facelift can typically be completed in 1-2 hours without downtime. Dr. Alkadri will determine the precise locations for injections in order to best meet your cosmetic goals, then administer the injections in a series.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Results will depend on the type, placement and number of injections and will vary from person to person. You will notice a change within the first few days following treatment, will full results taking hold within a few weeks.*
HOW LONG WILL MY LIQUID FACELIFT RESULTS LAST?
Dr. Alkadri will discuss the likely length of your results at your appointment, along with recommendations for touch-up intervals if you are interested in prolonging results. Because of the use of multiple types of injections (neuromodulators and fillers), and the different placement of injections, it is difficult to provide an average length of results - but patients will typically enjoy their new look for anywhere from several month to a year (or more).*
